Eternal Sunshine in 2023

  The days that preceded the last fight between Joel and Clementine were very hard on Joel. After she left his apartment he was devastated so he started to watch romance movies on Netflix. The next day, he went on instagram and saw that Clementine deleted all of the pictures of them together from her feed. She also changed her profile picture to just a picture of herself, as well as an “unlocked lock” emoji in her bio. He went on snapchat to ask her why she had made such rash changes already, but he didn’t get the chance, as she had also blocked him on snapchat. Making one last ditch effort to get in contact with Clementine, Joel tried to facetime her, but she clicked the decline button several times.
